Obonjan Island Resort Croatia

This is a first class scam. I really don't know where to start. We waited two hours for our apartment to be cleaned (even though checkout is at 10 and check-in at 3), I don't know what it takes to clean a 12-square-meter house for 7 hours. The best thing is that the house was not clean at all, they just put new sheets. The beach is a disaster and probably only someone who has seen beaches from northern Germany can be surprised by it. During the day, the waiters meet around the island and pretend to be drug dealers (I'm talking about these "ours" from the region). Maybe it would be better if they clean up the trash and waste that is everywhere on the island. There is no cordiality at all. Urgently introduce expert middle management who will supervise the work of all employees 24/7. The pool is a potential source of new covid. Breakfast is a disaster, dinner is okay, here and there there is a dish that is really good, but the organization around it is zero points. The prices of everything on the island are absolutely too high for Croatia (read foreigners), it would be much better if these prices were followed by a service so that people know what they are paying for. FOR FOREIGNERS: for the money you leave on this bum island, you can get much better service anywhere in Croatia.

Was here for a festival but was super impressed with the island! The island itself is gorgeous and so relaxing with a great swimming area. Staff are super super helpful and were so kind to help with everything! The lodges were amazing with clean bathrooms and AC that worked great. The restaurants were also pretty good and fairly priced considering they're the only thing available. It was a great experience and I can't wait to come back!

The island is beyond beautiful, but I am reviewing the resort, and I was disappointed. The first and the most annoying thing started already at breakfast time. There were not enough tables, and on one day, there were so many people it was basically worthless to even wait for a table, so I had to eat my breakfast sitting down without a table with my plate on my knees. The food was otherwise good and there is plenty of different choices. Although the island has no cars, there was either a loud old truck or a van that were constantly driving up and down the island starting early in the morning, which woke me up every morning. The lodge was very nice, clean, and maintained. Overall, there is quite some room for improvement: Please consider more tables. There is clearly enough room for more (large empty space near the toilets). I understand that the truck/van are needed for driving trash and other heavy/bigger things on the island so please consider buying something electric instead of having this cheap loud decommissioned vehicles so it doesn't bother the guests. Also, I don't understand why nobody removes the blue van by the bar that looks like it has not been moved for a long time. It makes the place looks trashy.

the location is great, but that's about it. We were on the island in 2019, we stayed in the Island home and everything was more than great. From breakfast, restaurant, prices, cleanliness, staff. This year we booked the O-tent which was very dirty, there was a lot of humidity, there is mold everywhere, in every corner of the tent. It leaked because it had been raining for two days. overall, the prices are too high for what you get. The island has potential but management needs to fix these things. What you see on pictures is not what you'll get. The pictures on their booking are from the 2019.

Well, this was an interesting experience. We booked 7 night staycation wishing for a quite and relaxing holiday. We chose O-tents for our accomodation which was very clean, tents are not that spacious but you do not really spend time in tent on a vacation right? Toilets, showers & facilities are also very clean. Food is really good, from breakfast with a bunch of choices to restorant menus, food is I'd say exellent. One thing you should consider when booking are dates. We stayed from 21-28th of August and there weren't many people since island can accomodate around 750 people. At the time were 250 so waterfront wasn't crowded. Employees were helpfull, friendly and generous. Overall, we had a great stay just peacefull and relaxing as we wanted, met some great people, enjoyed crystal clear waters, some cocktails also. 😀 Would definately go back one day!
